How much money do you need for a week in Magaluf?

Minimum Spending Money

We recommend that a person takes a minimum of 525 euro to have an event packed fun time in Magaluf. We will explain on how the money will be spent and you can use our guide if you want to create your own budget but do not have a base to start:

Pre-Drinks:

Nearly everyone on the island stack up their rooms with alcohol from the nearby shops. We say you need a minimum of 40 euros to have enough alcohol for the week. Prices range from 3 euros for a bottle of schnapps, 8 euro's for standard Vodka and you can pick up a crate of beer for just over 10 euro's.

Food:

You will need to eat well in Magaluf and you should have 4 meals a day breakfast, dinner, tea and a takeaway on your way home from the strip. We say you need a minimum of 175 euro a week for food which may seem a lot only works out at 25 euro a day. Breakfast may set you back 5 euro for full English, you can get a snack for dinner for under 5 euro and get a decent sized meal for about 10 euro for your tea. This leaves your takeaway for the end of the night which could set you back 2 euro for chips or 5 euro for pizza.

Day events:

Instead of lounging about around the pool all day we think a person should do between 2-4 day events over the week. We recommend saving 60 euro so that you can do at least a boat party which is 35 euro, hire a pedlo (5 euro pp) and take part in one of the many water sports available such as the total wipe-out course or the doughnut which are around 15 euro each. You may want to add a water park visit on top of this for about 25 euro.

Night events:

To get the most out of Magaluf we say you need to do at least 3-4 events over the week and then do your own thing for the remaining 3-4 days. We say you need about 250 euros for the week for the night life. If you watch a top artist at BCM it will cost around 35 euro for a ticket. You also should attend two MCP events such as foam parties, UV parties and much more. For around 30 euro you get the event and entry into 4 more of their clubs and get unlimited drinks all night making it worthwhile. If you decide to do your own bar crawls for the remainder of the 4 days you will need at least 40 euro a night to get as drinks are usually about 5 euro for 2 pint vodka mixers, 2 shots and a fish bowl.
